Maben's Rat Terriers & Chihuahuas
Welcome to Maben's Webpage!! We love our Dogs, and hope you like what you see. We own Rat Terriers and Chihuahuas (currently we have two 10 lb Fawn Chihuahua adult siblings for adoption!!) and it was because of them we decided to help other toy dog breeds needing homes.
Yes, we are Hobby Breeders, and feel that if we breed responsibly (healthy dogs only, breeding only once a year), help with rehoming in all toy breeds, or at the very least, wecome back our own dogs that others' adopted and couldn't keep, then we are NOT the cause of the "problem of pet overpopulation" in the dog world, and should be left to our own life and hobbies in peace.
As a side note, most "dog rehomers", if truly "rescuing" dogs, are broke, working merely off of donations alone (adoption fees of adopted dogs). Shelters are able to get public funds, where true "dog rehomers" are NOT. We rely on the generosity of strangers, and the help of our community, to reach out and help us help Toy Dog Breeds in Need... Just in case you ever see myself, or one of the other fine rehoming groups posting for help, I don't want anyone thinking that we would be posting for help for a dog in dire need, if that dog weren't truly in dire need. We only beg for help when we can't stretch our selves far enough to help them on our own.

Our dogs are kid and dog friendly, with exotic colors built in. At this time we have some Female Rat Terrier pups up for sale from a BLUE mother and a CHOCOLATE Dad, who will be ready Mid- July 2009.

Toy Breed Rehoming Group (Adoption fee $100 ea)Terrier Rescue is devoted to the rescue of strays and rehoming of homeless dogs. If you have a dog needing a home, or you see a stray toy dog, needing a home, feel free to call, we may be able to help.
Currently we have 3 Rat Terriers looking for homes.
Two boys, one girl. The girl is housetrained and is 8 lbs!

This is ME, mama to my pets A lady who owns a few Rat Terriers, a couple Chihuahuas, Min Pins, and Silky Terriers. We believe that if you get too many, they arent getting enough love!
We also rescue toy dogs, finding them new loving homes after vetting and love. IF you know of a pet in need, dont hesitate to call or email us!
There are lots of things I like to do, esp. if it has to do with the outdoors. I love kids, and animals. I love movies, reading, bible study, history.
